Our mission is to
broadcast British Classical Music because we believe in
its quality and its value. We aim to explore
the heritage of the musical culture of the British Isles,
and especially to promote discovery - and
re-discovery.
We also want to
encourage young performers to feature this repertoire in
their programming, and concert organisers to work with us
to promote such music.
British Music
Radio is not-for-profit, all surplus funds will be
invested into its development.
Support British Music Radio so that we can expand our
range of programmes and activities including commissioning
live events such as our Debut Project which is aimed at
encouraging young musicians to take up British repertoire in
their programmes.

documentary making, with that famous music and verse by
Britten and Auden at the end - shown complete to illustrate
its place in the film. We now also have added
